How to Access Mt. SAC's Online Tutoring

  • See the video to the right for a quick step-by-step guide on getting started Online Tutoring at Mt. SAC. For detailed instructions, see below.

Register for Online Tutoring:
  1. Log into your MtSAC myportal account.
    Click the Student tab then go to the "Student Self Service" channel.
  2. Click "Register (add or drop) Classes and select the current term and click submit. Enrollment could take up to 24 hours to process, so it is strongly encouraged to sign up in advance.
  3. Enter CRN (24289), and click submit. If you are having trouble registering, please email llawenkoAT_mtsac.edu using your Mt. SAC email account. We will try to resolve your concern within 24 hours.

See an Online Tutor:
  1. Log into your MtSAC myportal account.
  2. Go to eLearning Resources  then click Sign on to MtSAC Canvas. In your Dashboard click BS-TR01-24289-All Subject Tutoring.
  3. Click on Online Tutoring. Make sure you that you disable your pop-blocker. Accept the user agreement if prompted.
  4. Click Join Room to enter a live tutorial session, or click Question and Answer Center to submit a question, which will be answered in 24 hours during the week.

A Mt. SAC alumnus, Leon graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He is a currently completing his masters in chemical engineering at UC Berkeley. His career goal is to work for a company in the field of chemical engineering, process engineering, product development, or consulting.
